Tim Capper Founder

Tim Capper had 7 years experience
marketing large hardware and software products and applications
throughout Europe before moving to Hollywood, CA to pursue a
career in film. After spending two years in Hollywood, he moved to
Dallas to accept an art director’s position. In 1994 he founded
Vision Wise, a company providing digital video based interactive
solutions for entertainment, educational, corporate and government
clients. He blends art direction skills with technical expertise
to produce applications that are complex, functional, and
elegant.
Bill is the co-founder of
Vision Wise. Bill’s responsibilities are managing the day-to-day
technical and financial operation of the company.
His experience comes from a large corporate background in
establishing and managing Information Centers, an Application
Development Center, a Training Center, and the Advanced
Technology Group. He holds a BS in Computer Science and a M.Ed in
Counseling
Alex Webb has more than 15 years experience in executive sales
and business relations management. From 1992 to 1998 he managed
major accounts for Avatech Solutions, Inc., the largest Autodesk
reseller in the United States. In this capacity he acted as a
consultant working with clients to review their critical needs
and implementing innovative, customized software solutions. His
clients included Texas Instruments, Alcatel Networks, Johnson &
Johnson and Siemens. In 1998 he was recruited as Chief Operating
Officer of DBO Holdings, a software development company, where
he managed the day-to-day needs of the company, helped in fund
raising, managed development teams of programmers and artists
and built vital business relationships. He was awarded a U.S.
patent for software from which three distinctive products were
developed. Today, he is excited to bring his experience and
unique skill set to Vision Wise.
Laura Yonker is a
graduate of The University of North Texas with a BA in Radio,
Television and Film. At UNT her studies focused on film theory
and documentary production. From 2002 to 2003 she interned at the
Video Association of Dallas, a non-profit media arts organization.
Her internship responsibilities included coordinating entries and
artist communications for the Dallas Video Festival, hosting
monthly screenings, and festival programming solicitation and
coordination. From 2003 until the present Laura has been employed
by the Video Association as a contracted programming coordinator.
Since June of 2003, Laura has been employed by Vision Wise Inc. as
an Associate producer. Her responsibilities at Vision Wise include
coordinating phases of in-house production, scheduling, planning,
client communications, video compression, and quality control
engineering. In her tenure at Vision Wise, Laura has had the
pleasure of working with some of the most talented designers,
programmers and animators, producing imaginative and innovative
DVD content and design.
Ryan Hartsell graduated, Cum Laude, with a Computer Animation
degree from the Art Institute of Dallas in 2000 and was awarded
“Best Compositing Demo Reel“. After which he co-developed
an online RPG called Crimson Legacy with Tim Harris. The game was
active for a year and presented Ryan with guest speaking appearances,
one of which was at DragonCON 2001. Ryan then received a BFA in film
from the University of Texas in Arlington, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
At UTA, he was the main illustrator for the newspaper, The Shorthorn,
and was recognized by Columbia University for excellence. Ryan worked
on the Miramax film, THE GREAT RAID, in Shanghai China as a production
assistant. After graduation, Ryan joined the staff at Vision Wise,
working as an animator/designer on projects such as the Star Wars
Trivial Pursuit DVD, which won several Telly awards, DragonBall Z, and
Fraggle Rock. Meanwhile Ryan has been making films with long time
collaborator, Justin Hilliard through their production company Striped
Socks Productions. They have made award-winning shorts and have recently
completed their first feature film entitled, “Wednesday“,
that is highly reviewed. Ryan also continues to work on his own personal
art. Currently he is working on a series of digital art called Consumption
which has gained global recognition. One of his pieces in this series,
“Original Sin“, won 6th place in the 2004 Adobe International
Digital Imaging Awards and received a Merit Award at the International
Digital Awards Exhibition 2006 (sponsored by SONY). His piece
“Covet“ from the same series has now received 2nd place in
the Art of Digital Show
in San Diego.
Royce studied Computer Science and Japanese at Virginia Tech for four
years. He then went on to study Art at Chowan University and Game
Development at the Guildhall at SMU, specializing in Level Design.
His interestes are interactive simulations, storytelling, and
environment design. Royce's responsibilities at Visionwise include
CD and Web programming, as well as general programming and scripting
support for the production team. He tends to be both left and right
brained, and enjoys facilitating communication and function between
different kinds of thinkers. On the side he trains in Lions Den style
Mixed Martial Arts.
